Chimney cap

You have a wide variety of custom chimney caps you can choose from, each having a different feature. You must choose the right type for you. Caps can be round, square or oblong, made out of metal or masonry and having special features.

Some are for a single flue, some are for multiple flues, some keep sparks from shooting out the chimney and some keep out things like water, debris and even small animals. One of the most common caps are those made out of stainless steel because they don’t rust and last loner. Galvanized steel is also a popular choice because it can be painted and is wear and rust proof.

Animal and spark screens

Some caps have screens mounted, either to keep out small animals from damaging the chimney or birds from nesting and blocking the chimney. Spark screens prevent issues caused by sparks shooting out of the chimney. The animal and spark screen can be purchased as a single item.

Vent cover

Roof vent covers are used to prevent birds from nesting on the vents. The cover is actually a wire mesh which is corrugated or made out of stainless steel so it doesn’t rust. Round chimney caps have holes where screws go to fit the liner on the chimney.

Steel caps

Theses stainless steel caps have their top covered and braces at the bottom so you can attach them to a liner. Theses caps have no animal or spark screens. Instead, these caps are used when your chimney has draft problems. This cap will solve them.

Chimney pots

Chimney pots are mostly made out of expensive copper. Esthetically they have no match, and when it comes to features, there’s nothing better. Chimney pots have animal and spark screens, and help with chimney draft problems. Also, they keep the heat inside and the cold outside.

Flue stretchers and fan caps

These caps prevent chimney downdraft, increasing the length of the chimney flue. The build-in motor helps get rid of the smoke faster. These caps have animal screens and require no maintenance because they are air cooled.
