Irrigation

If you wish to maintain your garden lush and healthy without having to constantly water it, the recycled water irrigation system is what you need.

Effectiveness

You need to use up a maximum amount of 75% of the water flow. Take into consideration what pipes you will use.

Class 160 pipes that are 1 inch in diameter can transport 16 gallons of water per minute in 5 feet per second rate. Increasing the amount of water decreases the required pressure and increases the friction on the pipes. This isn’t beneficial for the system.

Tips

When planning the irrigation system, consider the water flow and the water pressure, measured in psi. These must be measured as close to the water source as possible.
