Irrigation sprinkler
Irrigation systems come in various types from sprinklers to pipes with valves and timers. Whatever the type of irrigation system you use, it is sure that it will require maintenance and reparations from time to time.
Technical issues
If the sprinkler system doesn’t go on when programmed to, you must turn the system controller dial to “Auto” or “Run”.
Mechanical issues
If the stream of water is blocked, use a sprinkler tool to turn the head of the sprinkler about a quarter and raise it upwards. A blocked sprinkler can also be caused by a faulty nozzle. Loosen the nozzle turning it counterclockwise. This way you can remove it and inspect it for signs of damage. Remove any debris that might be there and place the nozzle back on. If the sprinkler’s water stream is too powerful and shoots out beyond the necessary area, use the sprinkler tool to shorten the sprinkler’s non fixed side thus reducing the amount of water it releases and its pressure. Reposition the sprinkler entirely if it overshoots and can’t be adjusted.
