 Plumeria

Plumeria flower has five petals (Frangipani) and bears the name of a well-known botanist – Charles Plumier. This flower is used to make the famous Hawaiian leis or garlands and it is representative for Buddhist temples. Plumeria flowers are colored in white, but their middle part is yellow. The petals are very soft, like velvet. The sap of this flower, which can be found in its stem can make warts disappear. Nicaragua has declared plumeria as its national flower.

Orchids

Orchids are the most attractive and exotic flowers that please the eye with their beautiful and decorative petals. These flowers have many different shapes and their colors range from white to red, purple, blue, yellow, pink, orange, etc. The orchid impressed people so much that it has become the national flower for many states. The orchids include the most numerous species when it comes to the variety of a flower. There are 30,000 species of orchids that grow underground, on the base of trees or over them.

Hibiscus

The beautiful yellow hibiscus, which has been the national flower of Hawaii since 1988, is an endangered species. Hibiscus flowers, also called Pua Aloalo by Hawaiian people, are colored in red, purple, pink, etc. It is to be noticed that only five species of hibiscus are representative for Hawaii; the others are imported from other corners of the world. The petals of the hibiscus resemble the maple leaf and the plant grows as a shrub. It has its origins in China. H. b. mokuleianus and H. b. brackenridgei are two orchid species that have different stem types and leaves.
