How to ventilate your house

Every house needs proper ventilation in order to keep temperatures at a comfortable level during an entire year.
We recommend you three ways that can help you be cool or warm, when needed, in your own home.

The air must be in movement as many times as possible.

This can be achieved with a ceiling fan. They are suited even for winter because they push the hot air that rises to the ceiling towards the bottom of the room in which it is placed.

If you have an attic, make sure it has a very good ventilation system. If not, in the summer, the hot air that rises to gathers in the attic will come down to the other rooms and the air conditioner will have to work twice as hard. In the winter, the consequences of bad ventilation will be condensation caused by humid air trapped in the attic and the melting of the snow from the roof. Following the meltdown will be the ice buildup and roof leaks.
The attic will be ventilated with vents that permit the hot air to exit and the cool air to come in.

Also, in the attic, you can install whole-house fans. In the evening, when temperatures drop, open the window and the fan. Instantly, heat will go outside and cool air will enter and will be spread towards the lower levels of the house.
