Drip irrigation components

While going on a vacation, you will need a method to supply water to your plants. Instead of installing an expensive and complicated sprinkler system, opt for a more efficient drip irrigation system.

Connect a back flow preventer or a check valve to the main water spigot.

This will prevent water from returning into the water pipe. Connect a pressure regulator to the check valve or back flow preventer. This will allow you to control the flow of water into the system. Connect a water filter to the regulator. The filter must face downwards in order to allow it an easy drain. The water filter must be connected to the drip tube. The drip tube is the device that releases the water. Place the hose on the areas you need and then place some stakes to keep it from moving around. Turn the spigot on and regulate the pressure so that the water moves slowly.
