Drip irrigation hose

Snap peas are seasonal vegetables that rarely freeze. They require at least 1 inch of water weekly to thrive. The drip irrigation system is the most effective way to delivering water to this plant.

Start installing the irrigation system by connecting the back flow preventer to the main water valve. After that connect the pressure regulator to the back flow preventer. The back flow preventer will need to be connected to the filter. Don’t forget to attach the tubing adapter to the filter. Also, the drip tube must be connected to the tubing adapter.

Place the drip tubing at the base of the plant. It should be placed like an 8-10 inches in diameter circle around each plant. The emitters must face the plant. There should be about 4 emitters for each plant. Test the system by turning on the valve. The plant needs 1 inch of water weekly.
