Mix white vinegar and water in a cup, in equal quantities. Clean the surface that presents water stains with water. Take a towel and soak it in the mixture you have prepared before. Rub on the affected area very well. Repeat this action until the stains are removed. If you want to clean your glass shower door, put this solution in a spray bottle and add it on the affected area. Scrub the surface with a clean cloth. Wash the area very well, rinse it and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Hard water stains on the toilet can be removed with the help of Borax and vinegar. Mix these two ingredients and put it in a drained toilet bowl. Leave it there for about two hours. After two hours, use a toilet brush to clean very well the bowl. If you want to eliminate hard water stains on your washing machine,  run a full cycle using only hot water. Do not put any clothes inside. Add only one gallon of white vinegar into the washing machine. For the tubs and sinks, use a paste made of water and cream of tartar.
