Location
First of all you must start by deciding where you’re gonna place the hot tub gazebo. Make sure the area you choose is appropriate.
Gazebo design
The gazebo design depends on the type of tub. A hot tub above the ground will require a different gazebo design than a sunken tub.
Supplies and foundation
You will need to have a nearby water and electricity supply. The only thing that should be implemented in the gazebo’s foundation is the drainage system. The foundation of the hot tub and the base of the gazebo needs to be built out of concrete.
Excavation and shuttering
You need to dig a firm base for the gazebo. Compact the soil with a compactor or a vibrating roller if needed. Place the shuttering in that area and nail in in place. There mustn’t be any gaps in the bottom of the shuttering through which concrete could enter. Make sure the shuttering is horizontally built in the concrete area and install steel reinforcing grids.
Concrete pouring
Try pouring the concrete all at once, so that the quantity and quality of the concrete is equally distributed. To keeps air bubbles out of the concrete, use a vibrating machine. Let the concrete dry out for 2 days minimum and spray it with water every once in a while.
