Infrared sauna building tips

Building an infrared sauna from scratch will save you about 50% of the money you would normally spend on a ready built sauna. If you can’t manage the task yourself, you can always hire a professional.

Tips

Make sure you take all the factors into consideration when building the sauna.

Determine the location, size, vents and benches of the sauna. The wood you will use needs to be unfinished in order to avoid toxins from the paint, varnish or stain to be released. The door of the sauna should open towards the outside of the sauna. It mustn’t be insulated. If you install any windows, the glass you use must be tempered. A large sauna will function using 240 volts.
