Although these systems are very efficient, they do not remove bacteria in the water. This is one con for this system type used to filtrate water. The de-ionization process means that the hydroxide and hydrogen ions for positive and negative ions in the water with the help of resin beads.

Carbon adsorption is another way you can filtrate water. This system is used to eliminate the chlorine in the water, which can be very harmful for our health. This process takes place with the help of coal, resin beads and pyrolyzing coconut. The absorption depends on the molecular size and weight of the organic chemicals. Carbon adsorption process eliminates both the chlorine in the water and several organic traces.

Although it is very efficient to eliminate chlorine in the water, this process will leave fine carbon particles into the water.

UV filtration is a germicidal treatment that takes place with the help of low-pressure lamps.
