About the chimney relining system
A chimney liner is used to keep the area surrounding the chimney from overheating. It also doesn’t allow sparks to come near fuel in the case of fireplaces and wood stoves. A relining system is used for chimneys that have a fireplace, furnaces or water heaters.

Right sized liner
The size of the liner can be found out measuring the length of the chimney segment by segment. The first segment is from the top of the chimney to the top of the roof, the second represents the attic area and the third is from the ceiling to the opening of the fireplace. These segments put together represent the length of the liner. For the best results, choose stainless steel as the liner material.
The liner must be simply lowered down the chimney from the top until it reaches its end or an outlet. Don’t forget to secure the liner at the chimney crown using stainless steel screws or sheet metal screws. Also, secure the liner at the chimney outlet end too.
